Rayons Verts

Rayons Verts explores the contrast between a rigid steel structure and the delicate lightness of Murano glass rods, traditionally used by Venetian glassmakers to create decorative motifs within blown-glass pieces. Here, the coloured glass rods are combined in a playful composition to form a vibrant diffuser that filters and animates the light.

Set against a textured industrial glass surface, the arrangement creates a subtle grid-like texture, revealing changing patterns and reflections as the light passes through the different layers of material.

Bio
DWA is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Milan, founded by Frederik De Wachter and Alberto Artesani in 2005. Its work spans interior design for retail, hospitality and workspaces, as well as temporary installations, exhibitions and art direction. Creativity, research and precision are at the heart of the studio’s practice, with a focus on creating unexpected moments and reinterpreting familiar objects, spaces and materials through a fresh perspective.
