Handcrafted Character
Lambert & Fils (hereinafter “L&F”) fixtures are handmade in Montréal. Variations in finish, tone, or texture are inherent to the materials and craftsmanship and are not considered defects.
1. Inspection at Delivery
The fixture must be inspected upon delivery and before installation. Any claim for physical or aesthetic damage (scratches, dents, surface defects) must be submitted within fourteen (14) days of delivery and include clear photos as well as proof of purchase. In the case of damage occurring during transport, photos of the box are also required for claim evaluation. Products purchased through an authorized partner must be claimed through that partner.
A fixture showing visible damage must not be installed.
Damage occurring during storage prior to installation, including but not limited to impacts, pressure marks, improper handling, exposure to moisture, or construction-related conditions, is not covered by this warranty.
2. Two-Year Warranty Coverage
L&F provides a two (2) year commercial warranty from the date of delivery or pickup. The warranty covers mechanical, structural, technological, and electrical failures of L&F components.
3. Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Installation that is incorrect, unsafe, or not compliant with the installation manual
- Improper or incompatible electrical wiring, voltage, dimmers, or controls
- Use of non-authorized parts or modifications of any kind
- Damage resulting from misuse, accidents, shocks, or improper handling
- Damage caused by site conditions (humidity, dust, corrosion, vibration, improper storage)
- Damage occurring during storage prior to installation
- Natural wear, patina, or material changes
- Issues caused by failure to follow installation instructions
- Installation of a product that arrived with a visible defect
- Damage caused by cleaning agents or chemicals not recommended for the material
- Finish deterioration caused by environmental factors (UV exposure, coastal air, chemical atmosphere)
4. Responsibility of the Installer
The installer is responsible for ensuring compatibility with local electrical codes, verifying correct voltage and dimming systems, handling the fixture safely, and inspecting the product before installation. Failure to meet these requirements may void the warranty.
5. Submitting a Claim
Claims must be emailed to customerservice@lambertetfils.com.
If the product was purchased through a partner, the claim must be submitted by that partner.
