Zoë Mowat

Zoë Mowat established her eponymous studio in 2010 with a focus on thoughtful and material driven furniture and product design. Zoë’s approach is a sculptural and intuitive exploration of color, material, and form, that is counterbalanced by a desire to create functional objects that respond to our lived experience. Her work has been exhibited internationally and she has collaborated with brands and clients in North America, Europe, and Asia, including the Japanese brand, Ariake, and Portugal-based Origin Collection. Zoë has taught design at Parsons and Pratt Institute in New York, where she currently lives and works.
