Euroluce, Salone del Mobile

During Milan Design Week, Lambert & Fils made a splash at Salone del Mobile 2017. The Euroluce biennial is the continent’s largest lighting show, hosting over 400 exhibitors. To stand out, the Montrealers borrowed from the field of exhibition design.  The boxed booth looked like a sparse, cavernous and monochromatic gallery. The exterior walls supported the Laurent Collection, while the interior revealed unique models specially designed for the event—pieces that danced into the sculptural world, beyond the usual functional aspect of a decorative fixture. In another section of the interior space the Mile Collection was first revealed. The caper worked and the museum-like space helped elevate the lighting fixtures to a level of admiration usually reserved for priceless artefacts and invaluable pieces art.
