Zébulon Perron approached Lambert & Fils to develop together a suspended cabinet of curiosities. Somewhere between chandelier and object from another dimension, the installation brings together six salvaged mirrored cabinets, fluted glass tubes, and a hexagonal steel structure, animated by a pulsing light program by Moog Audio. Its warm glow, visible from the street, gave the space an immediate, almost magnetic presence.
Conceived as a social satellite for Semaine Design de Montréal, Bar Extra welcomed more than 500 visitors over three evenings. At its center, the installation established itself as a point of convergence around which conversations unfolded, within a retrofuturistic universe where every detail contributed to a single, cohesive sensory experience.
